| Just arrived at the hospital - apparently too early, but better to be safe than giving birth on the couch in Ainay. The midwife was right though, we still had another 5 hours to go. |

| And here he is! Freshly born baby Oscar. |

| With eyes wide, wide open from the get-go. Within minutes of being born, he was looking calmly around the room, quietly taking in this new way of being. |

| All this birthing business is thirsty work! |

| With the midwives who helped make it happen. |

| And it seems like it was a white-knuckle ride on the way out. |
