There has been a 6 month gap - no time for blogging as we have been on the move from Emu Park to Ainay to Jerusalem and Oscar has been on the move, crawling around like a maniac, so I haven't had a skerrick of spare time! We have just wrapped up the annual Christmas/birthday crush and started the new year (still plenty of birthdays to come this month - but mostly under control).
So I'll post a few pics here to bring us up to speed, with the hope that now I might have a bit of time to post photos more regularly.

Our street - Assael Street (or as some of the local kids call it Arsehole Street). Assael Street is the subject of a book called "A Street Divided - Stories from Jerusalem's Alley of God" by Dion Nissenbaum. All the expats who live on this street buy a copy. I'm not sure we all read it though...

Cake Leo and I made for a friend's birthday. We didn't really know them well, but the mum, Claire, hated making birthday cakes so I offered to help out. The birthday girl, Emma loved turtles. She loved the cake and everything was going well until Leo accidentally let loose the helium filled Minions balloon she had been gifted. We all watched it float up up and away in silence. Then Emma burst into tears. I'm not sure Leo was ever fully forgiven!
